Who I am

This website is run by Mara Quill, a fractional CFO based in New York (“I”, “me”). If you have a question about your information, email hello@maraquill.com.

What I collect

  • What you send me. When you use the contact form: your name, work email, company, stage, the engagement you chose and your message.

  • Bookings. If you book a call, the scheduling tool collects your name, email and chosen time.

  • Site analytics. The website host records anonymous usage data, such as pages viewed, the referring site and device type. It isn’t used to identify you.

  • Your theme choice. If you switch to dark mode, your browser stores that choice on your device. It is never sent to me.

How I use it

To reply to you, prepare a proposal, run an engagement if we agree one, and understand which pages are useful. I don’t sell your information, and I don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who else sees it

Only the services that run this site and my practice: the website host, my email provider and my scheduling tool. Each processes your information on my behalf.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t become engagements are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires, usually seven years.

Your choices

You can ask me to show, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Email hello@maraquill.com and I’ll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of this page.
